The Best Math and Physics Tutoring
How to LLAMA (Love Learning And Master Academics) is run by Joel, an independent tutor that specializes in mathematics and physics.
Why this focus?
Engineers in all fields are a priceless asset to our societies and our future. I want to be a valuable resource to help engineering students attain their goals and feel confident in their pathway.
What's the advantage?
My nearly two decades of teaching experience guarantees quality! I focus on undergraduate engineering studies; meaning I'm pretty good at teaching math and physics in an enjoyable and engaging way.
Who am I here for?
I'm not just here for engineers! I want to help all students of any age stay in the game! I hope to have a part in your success!
I am a small business that would love an interchange of support.
I want to stand out from others by not squeezing every penny I can from students and their resources. Since I don't have the overhead that other tutoring sites have, I can keep my rates much lower and for higher quality!
Basically, I'm not building on greed nor on pride. I'm not here to show off. As the business name says, I'm here for the love of learning.
I use videoconferencing tools for online tutoring. (You receive a link to click on and that's about it)
Gas prices a concern? No problem. Tight schedule? Online makes it easier to fit in. Maybe you prefer to leave your camera off. That's fine too. And you can operate from the comfort of your own home or wherever your study skills are at their best.
Unsure about the experience? Take the dive and give just one session a try! No obligations if it's not to your liking.
My rates begin at just $20/hr. You can check out the price schedule here.
Contact me and I'll be happy to address any questions left unanswered.

How to LLAMA is a tutoring service founded by Joel Rodriguez in 2018. It has had a few phases but has recently simplified allowing How to LLAMA to slash its rates considerably and happily.
Hi, I'm Joel. I did schooling for structural engineering. I have been a professional tutor since February 2007. That's over 16 years and thousands upon thousands of hours of experience. I've seen... a LOT. I've taught indepedently and for a local college. I've worked with many other very adept tutors that I've learned so much from. In fact, I'd happily recommend many of them as high quality accomplished tutors.
What does all this mean? It means I know what I'm doing. And I can do it for a low price compared to others with similar or even less experience. I try to always offer some form of promotion so you can get your feet wet with an even lower price if you're not sure about giving it a try.
I look forward to connecting and teaching others how to love learning and master academics!
